Clothing that shoots out of an aerosol can may sound like science fiction, but one Spanish designer-with-a-PhD has managed to pull off the world’s first spray-on garments that can be removed, washed, worn again, or dissolved to make new ones. A small plane made an emergency landing on a busy stretch of Interstate 85 in Atlanta yesterday evening just as the city’s busy rush hour began.
The plane was forced to land at around 5pm on a southbound stretch of the interstate close to Peachtree-Dekalb Airport, where it was headed.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said there were no injuries reported after the Piper Saratoga landed on the highway.
DeKalb County police said that the landing went relatively smoothly.
