Weather: After a very wet and warm week, the weekend brings slightly cooler temperatures and much lower humidity. That only lasts thru the weekend and things start getting hot and muggy again on Monday.

The week: We’re having a few people over on Sunday, the 4th of July, for BBQ and games.

TV: We’re just starting the 6th and final season of Schitt’s Creek (Netflix). We watched the movie Fatherhood (Netflix) starring Kevin Hart as a single father trying to raise his daughter after his wife died.

Independence Day: Sunday is the 4th of July, a federal holiday in the United States, commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776.

Weather: Wet and warm seems to be the prognosticators prediction for the coming week.

TV: We’re into season 4 of Schitt’s Creek (Netflix) and will be glad to be done with it. We’re watching the Olympic Gymnastic Trials (NBC) this weekend that are taking place in St. Louis.
We also went to the movies Tuesday night and saw The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard with Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson, and Morgan Freeman. It does have quite a bit of adult language but we really enjoyed it. Lots of laughs!

Weather: Simply put it’s summertime in St. Louis.

The week: I’m planning on power washing and sealing my concrete patio this weekend. Nothing else major planned.

TV: We finished the current season of Lucifer (Netflix). We watched Mare of Easttown (HBO Max), a 6 or 7 episode limited-series crime drama which we really liked a lot. We also watched the Friends Reunion show (HBO Max). I watched a lot of Friends episodes but wasn’t what you’d call a super fan, but I enjoyed the reunion show.

Weather: Summer weather is here, and the high temperatures brings along the chance for afternoon storms pretty much every day.

The week: I’m probably going to be working around the house over the weekend. I might do some power washing and other fun chores.

Weather: After a rather cool start this weekend it looks like it’s going to warm up as the week passes.

The week: We had a good time in Branson last weekend. We didn’t do a whole lot. We did go see the magician, Rick Thomas perform. I had seen him years ago when he was a regular in Las Vegas. We also went to the relatively new Branson Aquarium and also did some strolling and shopping at the Branson Landing, downtown.
We’re going to dinner with friends Saturday night and going to a Pignic on Sunday. Nothing else planned.

Weather: It seems that summer is here.

The week: We’re in Branson Missouri for a few days. Nothing really planned while we’re here. I’ll be checking in once in a while but probably not too often. We’ll be back in St. Louis on Monday evening.

TV: Watched the first season of The Upshaws (Netflix), a half-hour situation comedy that is typical of those kinds of shows but with a little more language since it’s on Netflix. We’re also watching The Handmaid’s Tale (HULU).

Weather: Warm, wet and cool coming up this week. we’re getting a bit more
“spring type” weather this year than we have in recent years. It seemed to go from chilly to hot in the matter of a week or so in years past.

The week: My wife is doing well two-and-a-half weeks after knee surgery. She graduated from a walker to a cane this week. She goes to the doctor on Wednesday for her 3-week checkup. If it goes as it did after her first knee replacement she’ll be able to go back to work part-time. Not much else is going on around here.

TV: We’re still watching Billions (Showtime) and just started on season 4 of Handmaid’s Tale (HULU). I’m about done watching Manifest as it’s just getting too ‘out-there’ for me.

Weather: After a week that included a record cold night or two in the St. Louis area, things are warming up.

The week: My wife is improving after her second knee replacement a week and a half ago. We both agree that this one wasn’t quite as bad as the first one was. Not that it was a picnic by any means, this time it just seemed easier. She’s getting around better with her walker and will move to a cane next Thursday if things continue as expected.

TV: We really haven’t watched anything new, still catching up on the same shows. I always enjoy watching the Oscars which will air this Sunday evening on ABC.

Weather: Cool spring weather in the forecast this coming week.

The week: My wife had her second knee replacement on Wednesday (her first one was done last October). The first few days are always the hardest so we should start seeing slow improvement after the weekend. Having said that, she and I both think this one wasn’t quite as bad as the first one, not that it’s not rough. The pain meds make her sleep much of the time and they make her quite confused. So, we really don’t have any plans for the coming week except sleeping, a bit of physical therapy, and laying low.

TV: We’re still watching Billions (Prime), City Of Angels (Showtime), This Is Us (NBC) A Million Little Things (ABC), The Connors (ABC) and a couple of other shows. We did see the series final of Shameless (Showtime). There were some characters and storylines I didn’t care for but I still thought it was a good show and I liked the almost inevitable conclusion in the finale.
