I’m still gonna get it, Gary!

Mom and I took our annual Christmas shopping trip to Branson. We hit Tanger outlet mall, and The Landing, as well as a few other stand alone stores. Had lunch at Mellow Mushroom. We gave our feet a break and saw the movie Ticket to Paradise – which we thought was cute, but predictable. Stopped by Uranus Fudge Factory on the way back (funny to see – but everything in the store is overpriced – which makes it not funny enough to buy anything – except fudge.)
I always look forward to this trip. It’s always a good time, and mom generally gets 95% of her shopping finished within the first day on this trip. I’m more of a – let me see all the options – then I’ll pick some things. Here are some pics:
It’s that time of year when we dust off all our Christmas DVD’s… Wait. Who am I kidding… I mean when we log in to one of the various movie watching platforms and pick out our favorite holiday movies to watch.
So far this year, we’ve watched the 1993 dark, animated The Nightmare Before Christmas – which is a necessity to watch right after Halloween, in my opinion.
We saw, for the first time, 2004’s Surviving Christmas with Ben Affleck and James Gandolfini. I thought it was really good – I laughed out loud several times.
Disney’s 2019, Noelle, with Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader – I thought was super cute and jolly.
Netflix’s Falling for Christmas, with Lindsay Lohan, was ‘eh. Just ok.
I’m looking forward to seeing the new Spirited with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds.
See if you can guess these others on our list of must see Christmas movies:
Tell us your guesses and your favorite holiday movie in the comments.
Have Hans Gruber fall for 21 delightful days!
