On the freeway today there was a big white box truck, big as a moving van, with the sign [Something-Something] Funerary Solutions. Lots to think about there. Also there are glass coffins in Richard Brautigan’s story /In Watermelon Sugar/. In the story, when you die they paint you with glow-in-the-dark fungus, put you in the coffin and weight the coffin down in the stream. People can look at you when they’re walking past at night, going over little footbridges.
That sounds like a book/movie my husband would like.
Instead of cremation, that coffin is microwavable!
