Sounds like the last thing my mechanic said on a car I drove into the ground. Put 153,000+ miles on it–and did not have to replace the clutch.
We generally drive our cars until it is no longer drivable, so I am sure we may see this notice yet again.
Must be a chevy…
Then they drove it to another shop for a second opinion.
That’s why I don’t trust mechanics. Go in for a simple little $25 wiper repair, and they start lookin around to try to jack up the bill!
They have to put that warning on the paperwork or they can get sued to kingdom come if you crash.
That just means don’t drive the car on that date, tomorrow is fine.
