This is about 20 miles away from me.
No idea what they’re talking about. I guess the give up is everyone because of pandemic, but what demo?
For lent, they were expected to give up something… their church had a fire – so they gave up the church – which they weren’t expecting.
So they were making a joke of not expecting to give up something so big as the whole church. And the comment about demo, is to let their parishioners know that they’ll be working on it soon.
