Weekend Open Mic

Weather: After a record-breaking Friday at 103°F and a very warm weekend it looks like we’ll get a break for a couple of days and then warm back up again.

The weekend: We’re going to dinner with friends on Saturday and then getting together with family on Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day.

TV: We watched In The Heights (HBO Max) this week. We enjoyed it a lot. We also started watching Schitt’s Creek (Netflix) this week. I tried watching it when it first aired but I couldn’t get into it. It has won all of these awards so I wanted to try it again. We’re now midway into the second season and we’re enjoying it for its simplistic stupidity.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, surrogate dads, and single moms doing double duty. Y’all Rock!

That’s it from B&P Headquarters in St. Louis. What’s going on in your world?

    • By the way, I found a bizarre, nice, old TV show called “William Shatner’s A Twist in the Tale.” It looks like it lasted for 15 episodes and seems to have been filmed in New Zealand.

William Shatner plays the narrator and tells the story to a group of kids. It is kind of like a “young adult’s” version of the Twilight Zone.

I am using IMDB TV to watch it.
