Merry Christmas – 2019

Another Christmas is upon us and they seem to be coming faster and faster as the years go by. It’s hard to believe this site will be 18 years old in March of 2020.  I had no idea it would still be alive after all these years. Hell, I had no ideas I’d still be alive.

I’ve met some wonderful people through this site and I’m proud that it has connected some of you together and fostered some lasting friendships. Whether we’ve met in person or just gotten to know one another through the website or on Facebook, I want to thank you for coming here, commenting, and being part of our little worldwide neighborhood.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it and to those who don’t, Happy Wednesday!  Also sending best wishes for a Happy Hannakuh and Happy Kwanza and happy any other holiday you celebrate at this time of year.

  1. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jon! Not sure how long I’ve been coming here, but it’s been a while! Looking forward to many more years!

  2. I know what you mean by the Holiday showing up faster — when I was a kid, it took years to get from one Christmas to the next – now it’s every couple of months!. I hope Santa is good to you – hugs and Holiday Greetings to Mrs. Jonco, Buster and you.

  3. Merry Christmas to all. I despise this holiday but wouldn’t try to keep others from enjoying it. I’ve been coming here for many years, and have enjoyed it all, hope to keep coming back many more.

  4. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone. I hope all have a peaceful holiday season.

May the best of this year be the worst of the next.

  5. Happy Holidays to all! A hair late for Christmas and I think Hannakuh – I had a pleasant room-mate in college who was Jewish – and have circled the globe at Christmas-time and it seemed that everyone was celebrating, but whatever you celebrate/have celebrated, be still in good cheer, and enjoy life as much as you can. The western new year is coming, and it is a good excuse for all to celebrate the wondrous world that we live in. I have been in Hong Kong at Christmas-time and know that the Chinese – at least the westernized Chinese – celebrate heavily, almost as much as we Americans, this time of year. The British Christmas was the most fun. They ran frequent TV ads about. . . well. . . not having too-much fun at your Christmas party.

  6. Happy Holidays and I hope you have a great new year.
You have giving me my daily bits of joy for quite some years and even though I don’t tend to comment often I am thankful for this.
    Thank you.
