We were able to update WordPress and install Jetpack (the plugin I was having trouble installing) and everything seems to be working correctly as far as I can tell.

Well, my info was already loaded on the first post that I commented on a few minutes ago. Now it is back to asking me for my logon info…
Your two comments were held for moderation, which is what is supposed to happen when a commenter from a new IP address comments. No one else has mentiioned that issue. I wonder if your IP address could be changing somehow.
Richard, I think I discovered the problem, but I’m not sure of the solution. Check your email.
Also I notice that there is a “not secure” warning for the site.
I asked that a while back B&P doesnt have the s in the http address so personal info is not encrypted
