A big thanks to Barry for covering our lunch tab. Following a nice long lunch and good conversation with some nice folks DJ and I were treated to a ride in Mike and Lilly’s Model 3 Tesla. Pics by DJ. Click to enlarge.
It is really an interesting ride with its ultra-quiet engineless engine and autopilot mode. It has a 310-mile range on a full charge and there are charging stations popping up all over the country. The super-charging stations take about 45 minutes to charge and it costs between $5 and $9 to use. They can also charge it overnight at their home. DJ and I were very impressed. We’re thinking about splitting the cost on one. We each would get it every other day. Some details might still need to be worked out.
Especially since we live 600 miles apart lol.
or two superchargers
They are building a Charging Station at the Wal-Mart in Collinsville, Il, just off of I-70/I-55.
Cool!
My dream car used to be a Mustang, but now it’s a Tesla.
It was sweet, hcmom.
