The one-woman town of Monowi, Nebraska is the only officially incorporated municipality with a population of 1. The sole, 83-year-old resident is the city’s mayor, librarian, and bartender.

Poker night must suck.
If you think about it she is also the city sewer department, the sanitation department (trash), the police chief, ems and fire chief, not to mention the water department director. From the looks of the photo she should also become the street department director. Nothing also about the Parks and Recreation dept. either.
Speaking of is she in charge of economic development? How about facilities maintenance, etc.
Just think what most people take for granted.
