In case you were curious, the show was stunning. Her voice and songwriting are remarkable (my priorities), the rest was musically complex enough to impress my husband. And, of course, the venue (Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Connecticut) is the best place to see pretty much anyone: intimate, beautiful, great acoustics (it only seats 300.) Plus, you can have dinner and drinks throughout! What’s funny is that I mostly just sort of go along with my husband, since he’s MUCH more into music than I but this time he got the tickets mostly for me, thinking that I’d followed the group in the past (I hadn’t) because SOMEHOW we had a CD. So, really, neither of us particularly expected to enjoy it. But we thoroughly did. It was a serendipitous find.
