Weekend Open Mic

Weather: Fluctuating temperatures and raining off and on… it sure looks like springtime in St. Louis.

Website Troubles: After a pretty normal week Friday brought a crash on the B&P site.  Apparently, there was a problem with a plugin because once they removed all of the plugins the site was back up and running.  I’ve reactivated 3 plugins that help on the back end of the site where I do most of my work.  Without all the plugins the site should load quite a bit faster.  I plan on leaving it that way for the weekend anyway and will have another look at it on Monday.  I’d be interested in any thoughts you’d care to share.

The weekend:  I’m planning on starting the drywall installation in my patio room over the weekend.  I keep running into things I need to finish first.

That’s it from B&P Headquarters in St. Louis. What’s going on in your world?

  1. An open ended project costs way less to do as you do it when it feels right.
The minute you put a finish date on a project the costs double as you don’t have time to shop around and look for promotions and unused half price stuff from other folks failed projects.

  2. I keep running into things I need to finish first.

I know how that is. With all the projects I have to do I also keep running into things I need to finish first. Like this pizza and glass of beer. Not to mention the shows I’m watching, Humans and Black Sails. If ye like pirates matey, Black Sails be th’ show fer ye.

  3. Plugins continue to be more persistent and invasive. It may behoove you to use less plugins. Even the comments section is sketchy
