Weather: Pretty much what’s expected in August in these parts.
Busy Weekend: Most of Friday was spent setting up for the annual mud volleyball tournament we hold. . Saturday, the day of the event, will be a dawn til dusk + day for me. I always enjoy it but I’ll be glad when it’s over. Sunday will be for recuperating and cleaning around this dirty old house. I’ll post an update on the kitchen renovation on Sunday.

Our mud volleyball tournament went well and I’m so glad it’s over. Up at 5 am and finally home at 9 pm and I’m pooped. I’m done with my part. I’m going to pass on my part of the silent auction to someone else. I’ve done it for almost 30 years. It’s time for new blood to take over.
I’m also disappointed that no other comments are on this Open Mic. But, I’m also a little drunk. So there. Thanks to spell check you prob wouldn’t have know that if I hadn’t said it.
I’m going to bed! Tomorrow will be a better day.
My family went to see “Vareki”, the Cirque de Soleil show here in Atlanta. I’ve been to other C d S performances, but this one was the strangest. I was trying to decide if I needed drugs, or maybe the performers had taken them all. By the end of the show, I had decided that I just needed to forget trying to make sense and just enjoy the experience.
Had to work both Sat & Sun again. I’ve only had one day off since I got back from my mom’s in Florida and a visit with some B&Pers near Atlanta on July 9th. Gotta git it while the gittin’ is good.
But I’m starting to think I’m gettin’ too old for this shit.
Just got my computer running again after a failed Windows 10 update. Thankfully I backed up the system drive before doing so. Currently backing up the new system so have to wait till tomorrow to play with it. The voice assistant, Cortana is a sassy little minx. Ask her who her daddy is.
Dang it! got my email wrong in my replies. Always forget something when rebuilding a system.
