Brazzies. No surprise, there. A thermonuclear strike would improve the country dramatically.
Mike of Spain isn’t smart enough to realize that people with MS or CP can stand but not necessarily walk long distances.
Maybe the miracle is he can walk and chew gum at the same time
I use a wheelchair. I can also stand all by myself!! I can walk about 50 meters on my own with lots of effort. I would never dream of going to a public event without my chair. I must admit though, I don’t like to stand up when I have my chair with me. WHY????? Because of ppl like “Mike from Spain” who aren’t smart enough to know the difference. Ppl who won’t think I’m “crippled” enough.
You guys are missing the “funny” in the post. Of course everyone who uses a chair isn’t completely wheelchair bound. Like you say, some need it because they can’t walk long distances for one reason or another and we know sometimes getting from your car to your seat can be quite a walk.
We’ve posted the picture of the woman in a wheelchair at a liquor store who stands up to reach bottle of booze on the top shelf. I think the caption for that included the word miracle also. It’s just a joke. Of course she wasn’t “miraculously cured” because of her desire for alcohol. She obviously needs the wheelchair for some reason.
I get the part of it that’s supposed to be funny, Jonco. I have a great sense of humour and will laugh at most things, including my lack of leg power. But, I just didn’t find this one funny. I’m sure it’s because I use a chair. I see things from a whole different point of view which I explained. Have been unable to walk normally for four yrs now, but I don’t think I would’ve found that funny before either. Just a difference of opinion.
I’ve seen the pic of the lady standing up in the wheelchair at the liquor store. Yep, I laughed…but at her “stupidity” (c’mon standing up in a wheelchair?). The word “miracle” should have been referring to the fact that, it must be a “miracle” that someone that stupid still lived. lol
Fair enough. Different strokes for different folks. Nobody bats 1000. Thanks for being part of the B&P neighborhood.
