MINNEAPOLIS — During Saturday’s Gopher football game, the family of Zach Sobiech gave the University of Minnesota a check for $568,000 on behalf of their son.
Sobiech passed away three months ago from a rare form of bone cancer.
He wrote the song, “Clouds,” as a thank you to family and friends. His YouTube video of the song has more than eight million views.
Proceeds from its download on iTunes are going to the University’s Cancer Research fund.
It will go towards a prevention and cure of the cancer Sobiech was diagnosed with, osteosarcoma.

Okay, Infi, stop figuring out the order you want to do them and think about how nice it would be to be that rich that you could do this. Then get back to what you do best. (thinking about doin’).
LOL and congrats to the family that was a wonderful thing to do
To think, that’s enough money to buy him 6 of those GTRs that he so loved.
