I can see it fine. You might try rebooting your computer.
Do you have the latest version of Flash installed?

Thanks for the suggestions. FYI I figured out the problem: It was to do with Adblock. I don’t use Facebook so I forgot that I had previously blocked all FB elements because on one particular site I visited the FB references were overwhelming.
