  1. I noticed too and I was going to send it in but then I realized people died and then I thought it was funny. But it is still ironic.

    • Google automatically places ads (if it can) based on the content of the blog or page. That’s why cruise ship ads are on a page with a cruise ship story. It’s all done automatically and yes, in this case it’s quite ironic.

  2. Anyone that uses Gmail realizes that (kinda subtle) ads show up based on the content of words in their emails.

    Example: I mentioned my friend’s bird “Tiki” in an email, next time I was on Gmail an ad appeared for “Kon Tiki bar furniture”.
