The release date of Skyrim. Aka the day I lose my life for a month.
I’m ridiculously excited about Skyrim. It’s not right for a man of my age, but I’ve been a big fan of the Elder Scrolls for a long time now and I’m also just a big Bethesda fanboy.
This only works with the US way of writing dates. In the Commonwealth countries, it’s written 11111.
Good call DJ – I was utterly baffled by this post until I saw that.
In 10 days Skyrim comes out!!!!! Yayayayaayay! I’m stocking up on Dramamine:)
Wow, that’s cool. It would be neat to see something similar next year, like 121212. Oh, what? Nevermind…
And only a month later it will be 1313 – at least it’s not on a Friday.
and what about 11 minutes after 11am? Of course, that would have to be GMT, to be accurate. I think I just heard a pop – can you actually hear your own cerebral aneurysm?
11/11/11 11:11:11
I wasn’t gonna even think about the SECONDS…by the time people realize what second it was, it’d already be one second past, so… 😉
This reminds me of a good joke:
There are 10 people in the world–those who understand binary and those that do not.
“10 types of people“
All I saw was 63. Big Deal!
11/11 is armistice day in australia, there is a minutes silence at 11 am, this was the time the fighting ceased on the western front in WW1. pity it was 1918 and not 1911
Remembrance Day in most of the civilized world too.
