I’m off to Kansas City today for a first communion for my great-niece Abby. I don’t think I’ll have much time to blog while away. I have a few thing set up to auto-post while I’m gone. I’ll return Sunday afternoon.
For some reason I’m getting way behind in my email. I have about 200 unread emails and that was before this trip. I’ll probably have 300 by the time I get home. I’m going to do my best to whittle that number down to a manageable size when I return.

I’m not braggin’ but my steaks are pretty dang good! I can’t eat steak at most restaurants anymore, they are more like shoe leather! I wish we still had a Morton’s here in KC. MMMmmm
I think Richard and I agree on the Rib-eye steak. I love mine charcoaled on the outside and medium rare on the inside. Now THAT is a perfect steak! IMHO Yummers.

I spent most of the day selling pork steaks at my son’s scout troop’s bbq. This was after I attempted to mow the lawn and got my riding mower stuck in a precarious situation. (It’s out and noone injured!) So all is good.
I have heard folks from the Midwest refer to “pork steaks”, but I’m not sure what they are. Is a pork steak the same thing as a pork chop, or is it a piece of pork loin?
Richard, did you not eat any of them at the BABBQ? There was a platter of them there.
