Sorry, but I have to agree to a point (altough every year I get closer to reaching “senior” status). I spent many years in retail, in a small family owned business. In my experience, those who asked for a “seniors discount” were often the ones who drove up in the new pickup adorned with every possible accessory, had the big motorhome, spent a month in Mexico, etc. The seniors who needed it, didn’t ask.
My answer was sometimes when they start giving out discounts for “young families starting out” I will offer a seniors discount.
But at a restaurant, a large number of seniors eat very little…
So they should order from the kids menu ;-P
I would love to eat from the kids menu but they more times than not have an age requirement.
And guess who won’t be getting any of my money…
