Are YOU a psychopath?

This is a story about a girl.
While at the funeral of her own mother, she met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much the dream guy that she was searching for that she fell in love with him immediately.
However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was.
A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: Why did she kill her sister?

First, find your own answer to this question…. then check out the answer after the break.

She reasoned that if the guy appeared at her mother’s funeral, then he might appear another family funeral.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered correctly.

  1. Whew…for once I’m glad that I didn’t get the answer right. Like Jonco says, I guess I’m only half cracked.

  2. This is completely dumb and inconclusive. The logic is completely flawed.

    If A –> C
    and B –> C
    A doesn’t necessarily = B

  3. is flawed if you are in fact thinking logically..however, if you are a psychopath, that is the one thing you a most certainly not doing..

  4. This is sick….if it were me, I’d just make some informed and reasoned deductions and find the guy wherever he was hiding when he wasn’t expecting it…

  5. Here is another one:

If someone killed the person you love, and is now hiding behind a closet door and being fearful for repercussions, what would you do?

My answer was to wait outside the closet door.

Most people would answer by saying they would break into the door and deal with the person inside because of the rage or hate being boiled inside.

They said my answer is a bit sinister, because I am toying around with the doomed.

    • Call the police. This person should be considered more dangerous than before. Keep them in there till the police arrive.

  6. @Rabbi Dave: Quite the opposite actually. Psychopaths are nothing if not logical. It’s the emotional aspect which they lack.

In either case, as Sander pointed out, the logic behind seeing him again is based on an illogical premise.
