Multiple tower upward lightning flash captured at 9,000 images per second in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA. A preceding downward positive ground flash triggers upward leaders from seven towers, three of which are visible in the video. The minute-and-a-half video covers less than two seconds of real time.
Even at that frame speed it’s fast as lightning.
I’m more amazed at how many tiny flashes are going on in the background in those 2 seconds! O_o
It would be cool to see the whole thing in real time appended to the video as well.. Interesting though
