GPS from 1932 June 28, 2010 Sort of TomTom, early tripmaster. Works using rolling key map. The map passes the screen in a tempo that depends on the speed of the car. From via To Share click →FacebookTwitterPinterestRedditTumblrWhatsAppEmailPrint

remember those old chevys with the speedometer that went all the way across the dash
I just saw a car air conditioner used from the 1930s till the 50s at a classic car show. It was called a “Thermador Car Cooler”. Guy said it worked pretty good as long as you were moving. It used no energy.
How does that work if you turn?
