  1. But somehow, using just 3 chords (like Elvis, The Beatles and the others), they created songs that will outlast anything produced today. Go figure.

  2. If you think The Beatles only used 3 or 4 chords in their songs, you need to go back and look at the sheet music again. They used a lot of unusual chords for pop songs, and a lot of chords that weren’t necessarily in the same key as the rest of the song. ‘Easy to listen to’ doesn’t always equal ‘3 or 4 chords’.

  3. Brilliant! As an Aussie, I’ve loved Axis of Awesome for ages. They first did this ages ago and they recently redid it with newer songs. Rob Paravonian was okay, but liked Axis more ;D

    I know The Beatles had a wide variety of chords in their music. I was only responding to the first comment.
